The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice world title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
